It`s weird that Vitamin didn`t get around to feting Celine Dion with a string tribute treatment until 2004 -- the woman`s made a career out of the kind of swooning ballads and powerful melodies that sound best in the viola, cello, and two violin format. To that end, "It`s All Coming Back to Me Now" and "My Heart Will Go On" flutter like pretty flower petals, while "All by Myself"`s keening strings are right out of a late- `70s Neil Simon romance. The additional percussion and synth elements in "That`s the Way It Is" and "I Drove All Night" don`t work quite as well, but for the most part String Quartet Tribute to Celine Dion should be a nice complement for fans. ~ Johnny Loftus
