You don`t have to be in the public`s gaze more than a heartbeat anymore to get the tribute treatment. Have the Jonas Brothers, the latest kid band in a long tradition of them, actually already built up a body of work? Apparently so, because this set plays tribute to that recorded legacy, brief as it is. It`s actually pretty listenable, with an anonymous session group called the String Tribute Players providing quasi classical string arrangements to ten Jonas Brothers songs, and it`s even endearingly joyous at times, done with a barely tangible wink.
