I purchased this for a long time jazz lover who has more individual artist CDs and albums than I can count! Norman Granz is wee-known for the collaborations he brought together. This item may be age- specific in that true appreciation requires an underlying knowledge, however the music is fantastic for any one who enjoys great jazz. The recipient also raved about the liner notes!
