The soundtrack for Disney`s 2009 live action/CGI film Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel features 15 pop covers delivered in the helium-filled rodents` (Alvin [Justin Long], Simon [Matthew Gray Gubler], and Theodore [Jesse McCartney]) signature falsettos, including classics like "Staying Alive," "Daydream Believer," and "We Are Family." Also included are selections from "the Chipettes" (Brittany [Christina Applegate], Jeanette [Anna Faris], and Eleanor [Amy Poehler]), an all-female trio of chipmunks who also wear clothes and sing impossibly high.
