It's a little dry and the teacher is obviouly not a professional actor, but she is very pleasant and conveys a love for the instrument. It's a nice intro to violin and my 6-year-old daughter likes it even though it is not specifically for kids. The price was right.

It seems there is no way to really learn the violin on your own. Every video I have gotten is the same as the next one. None are any better that I can see. Alas, I cannot afford to take lessons, so I will just keep trying to learn on my own until my dogs either kill me from the terrible screeching or I die of old age...lol.
