  This is one of the best book concerning the UFO phenomenon you will read. It is well thought out, logical and intelligently presented. It is beautifully lad out design wise, and ideal wise. The author's premise is that the UFO phenomenon is real and the governmrnt has been hiding the truth for over 60 years. The author states that the government though they pretended to created organizations to investigate UFO's like Project Blue Book, Project Grudge, project Sign, et al, they were indeed just setting up minitries of misinformation that worked with vocal skeptics to convince John Q Public that UFO's don't exist. The gov't claims that the UFO phenomenon started in 1947, which the author points out in two chapter to be false using incredible sightings from prehsitory - 1946. The gov't also claims that UFO are usually misidentifications made by untrained observers or stories created to try to gain a kook some fame or fortune.   Mr. Marrs is thorough in his research and gives ample info to credential his sources. His pages are packed with so many interesting and surprising facts that I'm having to stop after only a few pages to digest what I'm taking in. Facinating reading that's guaranteed to make you rethink your previously held beliefs.

  I have wanted to read this book for a long time. The author, Dr. Jesse Marcil lives in my town and is a very well respected doctor and member of our community. There has been so much speculation about what happened in that New Mexico town so many years ago, now truth can be told as it happened. His father was a significant participant in this incredible story, and thus Dr. Marcil, as a boy, witnessed it all. I truly believe he tells the story as it actually happened. If you have doubts about this incident, I don't think you will after reading it. I have always thought we were not alone in this universe and this book adds actual eye-witness testimony to that idea. Make your own conclusions when and if you read it.

  No matter if you're just curious about UFOs or a closet ufologist, if you could read one book on the subject of UFOs, this is the book to read. Looking at this subject from the perspective of US national security and airspace violations, as opposed to "little green men," will make you think about UFOs in a different, more serious light. Dolan does an excellent job keeping on subject while making it a brisk read. I can't wait for volume two.

  Jim Marrs has done it again. If you like to read about things that are controversial, explained in an easy to understand manner, and chock full of interesting facts, this is the book for you. Anything from Jim Marrs is excellent. You simply can't go wrong with this book if the subject of extraterrestrial life and its presence among us on Earth interests you. You'll love this book!
