The silicone wraps for the Wii remote & Nunchuck are great for the kids to differentiate which controllers are theirs. Easy to use. Just replaces the clear silicone wraps which were included in the original Wii controllers package.
I bought these to "dress up" my Wii and they do that perfectly. They were a little tough to get on and are even tougher to get off when haveing to change the batteries. They provide no grip once so ever. If you get wetty palms like I do then it almost becomes impossible to hold. Spend the extra money and buy a skin that has the extra grip and and better durability.
Very poor quality. Even with the greatest care, tore to pieces before I was able to get it all the way on the remote!
The 'skins' make the Wii accessories look cooler I guess. Did see them locally for about the same price. I'm sure they will protect the controllers from dirt and scratches so well worth it.
Anyone who has previously used a Wii skin with this design knows that it requires some tugging to pull it into place. However, this version felt cheaper straight out of the package -- a package that included absolutely NO manufacturer information. As soon as I started to pull it onto my remote the cover ripped right across the front. The silicone isn't very strong.Quite honestly, I'm not sure it actually IS silicone, since I have a few other similar style silicone covers that have an entirely different feel. I think this may be actually be latex, due to it's softer, more powdery feel. (Plus, I have a latex allergy, and this cover is bringing out the classic symptoms...)
