Not Really a Movie Tie In
This item is listed as "Twilight Movie Tie In (Paperback)" when it really isn't. The only "tie in" would be the picture on the cover and the free movie poster which isn't in the description.Movie tie in paperbacks are usually the book form of the film, based on the screenplay and not the actual novel the film would be based on. This is actually a large paperback version of the 500+ page novel.I was putting together a summer birthday gift bag for my friend and thought the "movie version" of the novel would be a fun, quick, summer/beach read for her as she loves the novels and the film. This book is thick and is about as big as the hardcover so it isn't something to just slip in a bag like a normal paperback.For die hard fans of the series this would probably be a nice addition with the cover and poster.But if you were looking for a book version of the film this is not it (and I don't think there is one). If I had known I would have gotten the smaller paperback version even though it would still be a thick book, it would be smaller to fit in the beach bag.
