  I am an avid true crime reader. These murders all happened close to home in southern Louisiana. Excellent book about a serial killer in the Baton Rouge area in the 1990s.

  Excellent book. Well-written and well-researched. First heard about the story on Nightline or one of those late-night television news programs. Tragic story. Can't get it out of thoughts. I'm a big true-crime book reader, and I highly recommend this book. Read the book in one weekend because I could not put the book down. Definitely not a "slow read" as stated by another reviewer.
