Great Edition to Your Collection!
This 1990 adapation ot the famous R.L. Stevenson novel is a MUST for anyone who collects movies based on classic stories. Christian Bale, displaying the early acting talent that has made him a film superstar, shines in the role of Jim Hawkins, the teen hero the story. Dominating his time on screen, however, is legendary actor Charlton Heston, masterful in his portrayal of Long John Siilver, a conniving cutthroat who is determined to slay anyone getting in the way of his pursuit of Flint's treasure. Great scenery, wonderful dialogue. One of the better made-for-TV flicks to ever come down the pike.
