Excellent
This book was not only well written, it was informative. It explains how our parents shaped who we are and still can control us from the grave. It captures your attention and you don't want to put it down. Anyone who has had any trouble with parents or in laws should read this book.

A wealth of helpful information to heal
This book is taking me through a process that I really didn't realize I was stuck in. I knew to a point, but not fully. I have blamed myself for 35 years and am now learning that I am not responsible for the way other people act or react, they are responsible for their own actions and I cannot "make everything good" for other people. I need to learn how to care for myself and take care of myself. I need to learn what I want and worry less what others want from me. I want to reach my full potential in this life. I am working on that at the realization of my feelings I pushed deep down from my childhood. My parents were wrong; not me. I am now fixing myself through this book and I am beginning to feel really, really good about myself. Thank you!!!

very good book. it is helpful in dealing with parents and other toxic people who are in your life. this book will be good to read to help others also. i am passing it on and want to read it again.
