It is so nice to be able to purchase a FAMILY FRIENDLY DVD at reasonable price..Did not have to wait too long for delivery either AND the shipping and handling don't cost you an arm and a leg!!!!!! My little girls (ages 3 and 4) LOVE this movie! We have watched it SO many times and they still don't get sick of it.... Unfortunately, I find it mostly inane and ridiculous. I can't even bear to watch it with them anymore. But since it continues to keep them enthralled, I'm more than happy to let them watch it again and again.

I had the VHS of Thumbelina and my 4 year old granddaughter watched it everytime she was over...more than once each time. I was happy to find a DVD so she willl be able to enjoy this classic for many years to come.

Cute movie, grandaughter loved it. Older movie and graphics can't be compared to current releases, but still a good movie for the kids.

Just had to get Thumbelina, my 4.5 year old has never heard about her, and I as an older mom loved her as a 4.5 year old... Cool beans for offering an oldie but a goodie

It's a great movie suitable for all ages. I watched that movie when I was younger and absolutely loved it.

I got tired of renting this DVD from the movie store! My daughter loves it so much. The animation is nice, comparable to older Disney where they used real actors to get the fluid movements (Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Peter Pan). The quality is not enhanced or restored so it's more like a VHS in that sense but she doesn't seem to mind. The music is great! (Barry Manilow did the score). Very much like Beauty and The Beast in the sense that it is like a musical with big numbers and a theme song. Great characters, no one scarey. Jodi Benson (voice of Ariel) does the vocals for Thumbelina and there's Charo, Carol Channing and Gilbert Godfried as well. It's the standard "girl gets lost, learns valuable lessons on the way home and is reunighted with her true love in the end" movie. My only complaint is how often Thumbelina complains "It's impossible" as she gives up on her quest. This results in encouragement by friends and continuation of the story. I know it's part of the "lesson" but she says it A LOT. Other than that, it's a DVD I haven't gotten sick of either and really enjoy the songs. It doesn't nauseate. I have purchased this both for my daughter and for her friend, who also loved it and her mom liked it as well. I recommend this DVD!

My 4 year old grandaughter AND 2 year old grandson watch this every time they come over. They sing and dance to it. It is a beautifully done movie and they love the story. A must especially for little girls.

I absolutely ADORE this movie. The songs, the magic of it are truely amazing!

If you haven't seen this, it's a classic for little girls. It's a must have. You can't find a better price!
