The Total Money Makeover book transformed my financial outlook over 5 years ago. I highly recommend this book to the everyday, hardworking person who desires to get out of debt once and for all. If you follow the steps, in time you will live like no one else!!!

The book is great, but it took 20 days to get to me from the time I placed the order.

This book is great whether you have credit card debt or not. Many people have said it isnt helpful if you dont have credit card debt, but there is so much information in here it's a great read just to get some insight into how the credit world works. Another reason I liked this book is because Dave Ramsey gives you a step-by-step plan on how to get out of debt and start building wealth. It's practical advice that can be followed without knowing too much about finance. He does mention the Bible in here a few times, references some verses that relate to money, but I would not call this a Christian book.

This is the best investment you could ever make. This is a great book--full of real life stories, helpful information, and humor. If you are looking to take control of your finances, and save more than you ever have in your entire life and to learn to be free of debt, this is a must for you. The plan is simple and straightforward. This plan has changed my financial freedom (on a teacher's salary!) and I bought a couple more of these books to pass on to friends who need a little help.

This book has many great words of wisdom towards getting out of debt. Dave Ramsey is a dedicated Christian who knows his stuff. Great for anyone needing help to get out of debt.
