The Musketeers, 16th Century defenders of the French monarch, have just been disbanded by the duplicitous Cardinal Richelieu. Now only three of them remain--Athos, Prothos and Aramis--to stand in the way of Richelieu who's plotting to overthrow the young King and assume the throne. Barely post-pubescent, His Royal Highness is extremely vulnerable to Richelieu's elaborate political machinations; but fortunately, D'Artagnan, a young man longing to join forces with the Musketeers, happens along. D'Artagnan's worldly idealism and reverence for the Musketeers infuses the trio with a renewed sense of importance as they unite one for all and all for one. My whole family loves this movies. I love comedy and collect them in VHS and now in DVD. This is one of those movies I just had to get in DVD too.

This version of the Three Musketeers is by far the best. It has a hint of suspense, plenty of humor, and yet some dark elements. All in all, this is well worth the buy.

title says all for itself. it's an awesome movie with great actors as keifer sutherland chris odonnell and tim currey. puts a lttle humor twist into the classic three musketeers. must say its my favorite movie from disney next to thier latest pirates triology.

It is a excellant movie for all age groups. We have watched it for years. It was one of the movies that was stolen in a break in and one of the first to get replaced. It has romance, and comedy and heroism and i wont tell you how it ends, watch it for yourself.

Disney's version of this well known story is a joyous romp, with Oliver Platt stealing the show as Porthos. Also doing his usual fine job is Tim Curry as the evil Cardinal Richeilu.
