Offensive book
This book is a great primary source that helps to trace America's history of racism. This is great for a history class...I am surprised that the description doesn't mention it that the book is not widely sold because it is widely offensive. Please don't think that this book is appropriate to read to children... it is far from it.

Memories
This was one of my favorite stories when I was a child over fifty years ago. I haven't seen it in book stores for years and I was thrilled to see it at Overstock to get a copy to have here at the house to read to my nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. I remember Sambos restaurants and the tiger butter and this gives me many stories to tell the kids about the past.
