This book not only describes the diet but gives you wonderful recipies and menu plans to follow. I eat so much on this the first 2 weeks I just don't see how I can be losing weight, but I am. Personally, I don't go for a different entre every day, I cycle every 3 days or so because I am the only person at my home on this diet and I didn't want a lot of left overs not being eaten. The beginning means a lot of food preparation, but that is just start-up. It gets easier to prepare meals as you get certain things on hand. If you commit yourself to this diet, it works. I'm stuffed after every meal. I am never hungry which is unusual for me on a diet.

The book came quickly. I didn't necessarily buy it to lose weight. It was to find what foods one should be eating. I applied the doctor's program to my diet and lost a little weight without trying! So I think that if you want to lose weight this would be the book for you!
