  • Great for vintage sewing machine owners

I recently acquired a vintage Kenmore sewing machine and attachments and had no idea what most of the attachments were for. I didn't have a manual for the attachments and the machine manual only covered the basic presser feet So after reading a few reviews I bought this book and I love it. It has great pictures and great instructions. I have been having so much fun trying out my attachments. This book is geared toward older machines that used attachments and not so much for newer computerized machines. The writer shows mostly a vintage Singer machine but the Greist attachments for that machine closely matched attachments on my Kenmore. I also enjoyed reading the history of sewing machines and the various attachments. I had no idea that so many of these hemmers were used more than a hundred years ago. Great book
