We all know and love Mother Goose. The old fashioned illustrations in this version remind us of the history behind the classic nursery rhymes. A very nice edition to add to any child's library.

This book brought back memories for me. It is exactly the same book I had when I was a little girl.... it brought a smile to my face! I am now sharing these fond memories with my little great nieces... very happy. Thank you!

This is a wonderful traditional Mother Goose book. I read a copy of this book to my children and now I have a new one for my grandchild. The illustrations are lovely. I am so pleased that I found the book again.

This was one of my absolute favorite books growing up. I didn't realize they were still printing it! Its got timeless illustrations. I highly recommend it.

Excellant for kids years ago, and excellant for the children of tomorrow

The rhymes are familiar, typed neatly and numerous drawings highlight/compliment many of them. This is nice to use with preschool children. There is a list of the nursery rhymes according to the order placed in the book as well as an alphabetical list of the first line of the rhymes. I love the illustrations provided by Blanche Fisher Wright. Beautiful artwork!

I had this book as a kid and still have it on my bookshelves today. When my best friend got pregnant and asked everyone for children's books I knew I had to find this one. It has all the original nursery rhymes with a beautiful cover and wonderful illustrations. Its indexed by title and also by first lines so you can find anything you are looking for very easily. It is a must for every new baby's library!!!
