This book on the Prodical Son raises many excellent points. Keller shows us that there are two parables in this story. The younger son defies his father by asking and then wasting his inheritance. The second story of the "good" son who defies his father by refusing to welcome the wandering family member home. This is a good book to use for Sunday School teaching.
I ordered four copies of The Prodigal God by Tim Keller and they all were in perfect condition. Even better, I received them all within less than a week of my order date!
I thought I was the younger brother in the Prodigal Son parable, but I find I am the older brother, and that God is the One who with reckless abandon gave all of Himself so that I might have a full life.
