Many actors who went onto big careers. Set in the 1950's, a struggle between the rich kids and the poor kids. There is a fight and a boy is killed in self-defense. The assailant flees with his friend. He decides to go home and face the music. Johnny, the assailant is killed trying to save some children from a fire. There is a rumble. A third boy played by Matt Dillon is killed after he holds up a convenience store. Friendship can lead to death.
