tons of photographs, easy to understand. i ordered a bunch of organic lawn care books at the same time and this is by far the best. has comparisons of grasses if you are just getting started, instructions for laying sod, monthly layout of things you should be doing (ie. when to overseed, when to dethatch, etc...) cost comparisons, information on the basics if you don't want to dive right into this.. great book. clear, concise information, something you will actually read. i lent it to a friend of mine from work who is "not a reader" and he couldn't put it down... completely satisfied...
