The Nutcracker Ballet with Barishnikov and Kirklan
This production is absolutely lush. Barishnikov and Kirkland were in love at the time and their pas de deux is amazingly steamy (in a subdued way, but you can feel it). I have been desiring this for years and I thank you profusely for offering it. I might buy other versions, but this is a must.

I love this version of The Nutcracker
I miss this ballet when Channel 13 (KERA) stopped showing it during the holidays. It's great to fnally have it on DVD.

The Ballet we know and love
There is not much to say about the perfect Nutcracker. I grew up watching Barishnikov dance this ballet and now my daughter shares the same love of this timeless classic.
