Interesting
I have been working with my son (6 years old) a lot on reading, with these books he picks them up by him self looks at them (he can't read them by himself yet) but he asks to be read to and laughs at the funny stuff when it comes up, which is a lot, but that lets me know that he is understanding and paying attention. They are quite funny though.

Great value, great entertainment
I live in an area where it is not so easy to find Captain Underpants books even at our local bookstores. I was pleased to find this collection at such a fantastic price. These books are what convinced my ten year old son that reading was actually enjoyable so I snagged this set right away. He was so happy to get them and read them right away.
