i am finding this book informative and very easy to incorporate into my life/diet. meals mostly have very similar products and spices so a few staples can have you ready for most of the recipes. most recipies are 30 mins or less. Meals have been very tasty. Some in my home only like meat potatoes and graveys and if salad only blue cheeze or ranch. They all have enjoyed the flavors of this diet including the oil and vinegar dressings for salads.

I was looking for an easy diet plan to follow that did not require counting and measuring and this is it. I lost 10 pounds in seventeen days and I never felt hungry. Not only does this book help put the Mediterranean diet into perspective it also gives information relating to serious health issues that plague Americans. My family history includes heart problems and dementia. This diet addressed the types of foods we should eat to counter attack these issues. You cannot lose in purchasing this book. It does require eating lots of chicken and fish. If you do not like either then this diet will be difficult. For me it is a breeze. Eating healthier and walking a mile per day has made me feel so much better. This diet has also been in the news lately for its great affect with countering dementia.
