I wish I had read this book my first year of medical school rather than my last.. Lots of good tidbits for a beginner. A good read too.

I'm a House MD fanatic! I have to say when I saw this book, I got curious about what was it that the author had to say about the show that I didn't know about! To my surprise, this is a very good book describing the hard thinking doctors actually have to do in order to reach a diagnosis based on the symptons the patients provide despite out lack of knowledge on the subject matter. I also liked the fact that it begins to describe the critical role that ER doctors or general practitioners have at the beginning stages of diagnosis and then it moves on to detailed analysis of labwork even teamwork to find a cure. Awesome book, Awesome show!!

Great writing, acting, plotting. It is fun to watch and fun to figure out. Hugh Laurie and his team are talented in character and out of character. You won't be disappointed
