I was given this book to do a philosophical analysis on for a college class, and it was the BEST book I ever read in the area of neuropsychology. I simply could not put the book down until I finished it in 3 days. Dr. Sacks has a way of seeing past the afflictions and into the human element of his patients. He reminds us that these are human beings with feelings and emotions and their own unique intelligence. Insightful, inspiring, simply a treasure and must-have in any reader's collection!
