Final book
I couldnt wait for this book to come out, but I found this book rather dull and boring. It was rather drawn-out in some parts and not enough detail in some parts. I wish Land of Painted Caves had answered some questions I have instead of provoking more unanswered questions. I enjoyed reading Auels previous Earths Children books greatly, but this one I found to not keep my interest as well as the other books.

I waited 10 years for this final book and believe it was worth waiting for. If you are a fan of" Earth's Children " and the creator Jean M. Auel , get it in hardback and add it to your collection!!!

Took forever to get here!
The book is just what I was expecting and it was a good deal, but it took longer than the shipping estimate and there was no tracking information available for the shipment.

Land of Painted Caves
Ms Auel story of Ayla has held me captive since I picked up the first book in the series. I read them at least once every year. I'm sorry to see an end to this complicated, unique woman.

Worth the wait!
I'm so glad that I finally have this book! I was genuinely worried Jean M. Auel would die before she finished the series, given how long she takes to write each book! My only wish is that this came in the paperback versions like all the others, but that's minor. Overall this was a great ending to the series! I won't leave any spoilers though! Enjoy!
