This book is great! It provides a kid friendly look at history as we know it. It is basic enough to be terribly useful. The timeline is perfect for giving kids an overall perspective of the events and when exactly they took place. This book provides a great resource for classically educated homeschoolers. It correlates with the Story of the World series of History for the Classical Child. There are interesting pics and facts throughout. If your kid is having a hard time "seeing" history as it unfolded then this is the book for you.
