I'm listening to the book now and it's a really fascinating take on alien possession. I like the book, but if it ever comes out in an abridged copy I would recommend that you buy the abridged version. The author gets too wrapped up in emotional angst.

As a reader of the poplular Stephanie Meyer Twilight series I bought this novel on tape for a road trip thinking it would be entertaining. This audiobook defintely left much to be desired. The only good thing about it is that it's very long, so good for long roadtrips. But the story was boring and the narrator was not great to listen to.
