Nothing can beat Rutger Hauer for pure smug evil and sometimes helpfull behavior. Sean Bean is a good actor but does not compare to the menace and delight that Hauer imparts in his John R. Howell and the rest of the cast are much better suited to the whole theme as well. It is not for young or squeamish viewers, but for those who like a gruesomely suspensful show, this is great!!!

This movie is one of my "oldie but goodie" favorite movies. It arrived quickly and the DVD was in perfect condition. I have been looking for it at that price offered for a while, you cannot beat it. Great movie, i highly recommend it. Thanks OVERSTOCK.

I love this movie and wanted to have it in my DVD collection for a long time. It keeps you in suspense till the last minute, even if it is not the first time you're watching it. I would highly recommend it for any adult who likes horror movies. A note of caution to people that are easy to scare. The movie is VERY scary, and you might even get nightmares for a couple of nights. This is also a reason why I do not recommend this movie for children younger than 16.

this was a great movie. I had seen it on tv, but only caught the last part. I have watched it at least three times since i got it.

Whats not to like about a deranged hitch-hiker who kills anyone unfortunate enough to pick him up. Rutger Hauer is Savage!
