    • A DVD a new parent can't live without

      This DVD is a new parent's life saver! When we had our first baby, we received this as a gift when the baby was 2 weeks old and we thought...WHY didn't we have this 2 weeks ago...our lives would've been so much easier! Now it is a gift we give to all friends and family that are becoming new parents, so they are equipped from Day One of caring for a newborn by themselves. The techniques Dr. Karp uses REALLY work! We personally used the swaddling, sucking, and shushing sounds for our babies...for the shushing sounds, we play a CD of a constant waterfall and put it on repeat so it plays all night long...in fact, we still play it for our youngest and she's 21 months old...it's her queue that it 'night night' time and she loves it! I would HIGHLY recommend this DVD. It's a MUST have for parents...just like a carseat...you have to have it!

    • Great tips to soothe baby

      I first reviewed this video at a maternity care center visited by the health occupations class that I teach. I loved it and bought it for my son and dau-in-law. The soothing techniques really do work quickly!

      This is a great dvd for first time parents. I suggest the book as well, but if you are not in to reading - this dvd will answer your questions. I really do have the happiest baby now!

    • Great for new moms and dads!

      This video shows you exactly how to hold your infant and what techniques to use to soothe crying infants. Buy this and buy a sound machine (for white noise) and you'll give yourself hours more of sleep and comfort for you and your baby!!
