The book was delivered quickly. However, I sent this as a gift and I was disappointed that I wasn't asked what to put on the card enclosed with the book. I called customer service and was told no card was included with the book. If the sender wanted to know who sent the gift, they would have to call your company. I called the recipient of the gift and they had received it but had no idea who had sent it and never thought to call the company. If you are giving the option of sending a gift, then please enclose a gift card with the senders name.
As usual, Overstock provided the best price and efficient delivery, so I am very pleased with their service. The book itself, however, is a yawner. The author seems endlessly fascinated with the most mundane aspects of the lives of these ordinary women--it all just becomes unbearably tedious after a couple of chapters. Any woman with friends of her own will probably read this and say, "So what's the big deal?" Maybe because the author is a man, he views ordinary female friendships as some sort of phenomenon. I donated my copy to Goodwill.
