I bought this book, naively, thinking it was going to help me find some secrets into loosing weight. What this book really does is lay out why overly processed foods are bad for you. Basically, the more your calories your body has to expend to break down something you eat, the better. I can not say that I have been able to stick to the diet explained in the book. All that being said, it does seem to be the most realistic diet book out there. It can be seen as almost a revamping of the current food pyramid Americans of my generation have grown up with since the early 90's.
