    • Finally! Healthy Food for Crockpots!

      Like most people who utilize crockpot cooking, I work full time. I have about four crockpots, including one which is pre-programmable so that I can turn it on in the morning and it will default to warm when my meal is fully cooked at the conclusion of my business day. The description for this book was absolutely correct. My husband and I are busy people, and we have decided to become more health conscious about the foods we eat (particularly at "over-eating time later in the evening when we are both home from work"). It's great to know there's a way to make food in the crockpot, conveniently and in a time-saving manner, which doesn't have a huge layer of grease pooled on it, and it helps us to have recipes which take into account the fact that we are watching our calories, fat, etc.. I would really recommend this. I was extremely pleased.

      I love this cookbook. I originally borrowed this book from the public library, but wanted to copy so many of the recipes in it that I decided to buy the book instead. Overstock had the lowest price. Each of the recipes are so tasty you forget that they're "healthy." I'm making the beef stew with guiness as I write this review.
