I've been smoking off/on for about 17 years. I'm 31 and an athlete and smoking really NEVER had a place in my life. However, the thing is most people never knew I even smoked. At the same time, I couldn't shake the fact that I almost felt I "needed" to smoke a few cigarettes every day. This book helps you to think about smoking in an entirely different way. Of course I knew smoking was bad, DUH! What Carr does though, is make you really see smoking in an entirely different light. It will help anyone that smokes. That could be from someone like me that barely smoked, to someone that smokes over a pack or more a day. It breaks things down and it just "clicks". I'm not someone that can sit and read a long book either, I've found reading this in stages has been even better. The desire or "pang" takes time to go away, but this book covers that as well. PLEASE believe this review and try this book. Trust this when I say, it will save your money and your life!
A friend recommended this book to me, I read it and have not had a cigarette since. I highly recommend this book as someone who had been a smoker for 15 years. Allen Carr's Easyway really is just that.
THE FEAR OF WHAT WOULD HAPPEN WHEN I STOPPED IS WHY I CONTINUED TO SMOKE...THEN I FOUND THIS BOOK. WHAT AN ANSWER TO MY PRAYERS AND YES, YES, YES IT IS EASY TO STOP SMOKING. IT IS THE MIND THAT TRAPS YOU. FOR ANYONE THAT GETS NERVOUS OR ANXIOUS JUST WHEN THEY THINK ABOUT QUITTING, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE BUY AND READ THIS BOOK. I WAS A SMOKER THAT SMOKED MORE IN PRIVATE, ABOUT 10-15 CIGS A DAY. MOST PEOPLE DIDN'T KNOW THAT I SMOKED BECAUSE I NEVER SMOKED AROUND NON-SMOKERS...NOW, I AM A NON-SMOKER - WHAT A FEELING.
