    • A must have!

this is a must have book for anybody who owns a dog. Easy to use and provides great information. I was able to diagnose my own dog with this book and when I took her to the vet he spent less time figuring out what she had and more time treating her. It also helps you understand your dog, as far as possible problems they can acquire. If you have a dog, you need this book. And I always buy my books on Overstock.com!

    • great reference book

Arrived quickly and in good condition. Great value...I will check O's books first from now on. This book is well thought out, and informative. It's easy to use--the index and table of contents are thorough. Don't know that it's supposed to be entertaining, but I gave it five stars because it captured my interest, and I read far more than I planned to. Good book to have as a reference, and to read regularly in order to be informed. Should my dog seem to not be her usual self, I can reference the book and know what steps to take to determine if I can do something, or if the vet needs to be called. As a dog owner, this book is a confidence booster. Positive reviews helped me decide on this book. Glad I got it.
