I am flabbergasted by the uniformly rave reviews. I have seen many independent and European films that I have enjoyed over the years. I watched this for 20 long minutes and did not find anything entertaining yet. Nothin rated even a smile. For a five-star movie, I expect not to have to wait so long for a litle payoff. Who knows, maybe I'll get desperate someday, watch the rest, and love it, in which case I will come crawling back on my knees and talk the movie up. But it won't be soon.

This movie is hilarious. My guests loved it so much that I ordered three more copies that same night, after we watched it. This is a movie that can be watched by all, even the kids. Order two copies just in case.

I'm so glad I finally found this movie on DVD. I'd seen it a few years ago and loved it. It not only is hilarious, but sadly, provides insight to how people treat people. Best French movie I think I've ever seen. I'd recommend this movie to anyone over 18.

this french movie is hilarious! I rented it and then had to buy it. My mom watched it and was laughing out loud through out the whole movie.My husband is a very cynical person and he even liked it. You have to pay attention and read fast but it's not too bad and doesn't detract from the movie.

It has subtitles but it's even more funny when you understand French/ French culture. Hilarious!

An award winning, wide-screen French comedy. Very funny indeed, even if you have to rely on the very good English sub-titles. I have watched it four times already and bought a second copy for a marginally French speaking European friend. Non French speaking friends have also wanted to watch this several times.
