Description:

HYPNAGOGIC STATES contains remixes of tracks off of The Cure`s 2008 release, 4:13 DREAM. The remixers generally chose to make the songs more electronic, beat-heavy, and dancier, even if many of the participants, like AFI`s Jade Puget and Fall Out Boy`s Patrick Stump and Pete Wentz, come from the world of rock. 30 Seconds to Mars (Jared Leto`s band) contribute a slightly more stripped down "The Only One," full of silent stretches and instrumental breaks. The EP is a long way from classic Cure, but an interesting detour. In addition, all profits went to benefit the Red Cross.
