The Closer Series
My mom and I love the Closer Series. This item was pre-purchased for Christmas. Overstock informed me when to expect the item to be shipped and informed me again when it was shipped. The Closer
We've become addicted to The Closer. The writing, acting, and camera work are brilliant! The blood & guts can be shocking, but none of it gratuitous. Not for children. And having Overstock deliver this to your home in a timely fashion is terrific.

Great Deal on a Supurb Program
I watched this program at home for several seasons on TNT, and wanted to send it to my sister who doesn't have cable. When I saw this DVD at this great price, I decided to send both Season 1 & 2. My sister and her adult children love the series as much as I do, and it has become a family favorite. Thank you very much, as Brenda would say!

Not enough of a good thing.
Good stories, great acting, but only 15 episodes. Kyra is the best actor on TV today.

If you love great detective stories that concentrate on good old fashioned detective work to solve crimes, then purchase this series. Wonderfully entertaining - great stories, great acting.
