Brenda Johnson (Kyra Sedgwick) arrives from Atlanta to lead the LAPD`s Priority Homicide Division, a special unit that deals with explosive high-profile criminal cases. Almost immediately, her mix of brassy toughness and Southern sass begins to rub the mostly male policemen the wrong way--they resent this eccentric, folksy, and occasionally neurotic woman running the show. But when it comes to her CIA-trained interrogation skills, they`re forced to admit that she`s a pro`s pro, a psychological surgeon who gets inside the subjects` minds and draws out their darkest secrets and confessions. And that`s why she`s the closer. In this fourth season of the show, Johnson uncovers the sordid underbelly of a local private school, races against time to stop a terrorist explosion, and edges toward her wedding date with FBI-based beau Fritz Howard (Jon Tenney).

This site is my number 1 place to buy DVDs. The packaging is reliable and shipment shows up within a week.
I absolutely love this show. That being said Season Four was not quite what I expected. The cases were about the same as in previous episodes, but there was major drama concerning the future of Brenda Johnson¿s Priority Homicide Division. There were definitely emotional ups and downs within the squad. Amy Sedaris makes a great addition to the show as Fritz¿s psychic sister. All around this was an excellent season and I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.
Brenda is a strong women who will find the guilty criminal no matter how she does it. She rubs the the other police officers/ dectectives the wrong way. Brenda does not care what others think of her. All that matters to her, is to get the person who commited the crime.
All of the seasons of this show have been good but Season 4 was better than expected. The cases were bigger, there was more political drama regarding her Priority Homicide division and the fact that the wedding was coming up soon added to all the things I already loved about this show. Don't want to spoil anything but I think that Time Bomb was one of the most emotionally compelling shows I have seen on tv in a long time and Fritz's sister made a great addition to the cast for the few episodes she was in. I would definitely recommend this show. (I would say it is probably appropriate for 16 and older some themes are a bit intense for younger audiences.)
