The Book of Awakening
Hearing Mark Nepo's incredible wisdom on XM radio, I rushed home to order his book. Kismet interceded, and it was waiting for me when I got home, compliments of a dear, dear friend! That, in itself, makes it special, but, in addition, page after page of this book of awakening is filled with the gift of a genius response to life. Optimism and truth filter through Nepo to the reader and there is just no getting around his amazing message to live in love and peace. This book makes a great gift for special people in our lives!!

I was given Mark Nepo's book last summer. His writing captures our human struggle with compassion and perspective. Since that time I have read 3 of his poetry books and another book of essays. This book is a great gift for someone going through loss or transition!
