The Bible for Dummies

This book is exactly what I was hoping it would be. I did not grow up in a religous household and never received the basis of religion. This book layed out the Old Testament and New Testament in a way that I could completely understand. I now am able to have a conversation about the Bible that I was not previously able to do. This book has really enhanced my knowledge of the Bible, what it is about, where it came from and the stories that it holds. I would recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a very easy way to make your way through the Bible. I now will be able to read the Bible and have an actual understanding since this book has allowed me to have a base understanding. The book is not biased, it gives fact and not opinion, and offers several different interpretations to allow the reader to make their own decision about what was going on. I give this book an A+, 2 thumbs up, a def. good buy.
