Paul McCartney is polite and diplomatic throughout, John Lennon winks knowingly at illicit drug use with his "Thanks for the purple hearts" comment at an award ceremony, and a jet-lagged George Harrison is interviewed days before his 21st birthday by BBC radio DJ Brian Matthew.
