this is an awesome book, step by step information from bees,chickens,large animals and gardening, lots of step by step info about making your own cheese to wine and yogurt would definitly recommend to family and friends, a must have for anyone with land.five thumbs up.....

I love this book! It is great for those who are just starting to dabble in the ways of a self-sufficient lifestyle, and a great resource to have on hand for those who are already well on their way. I still like to come back and look at the planting dates for our area, and I often go back to look at the recipes that are included in some chapters.
