The six were raised by nefarious scientists as genetic experiments at the oppressive, terrifying "School," where they were each treated to a tiny helping of bird genetics that gave them not only flight, but incredible eyesight and super strength. With help from Jeb, a sympathetic scientist, the six managed to flee, living together in peace and happiness. That is soon shattered when their youngest and dearest member, six-year-old Angel, is kidnapped by Erasers--ferocious, man/wolf agents of the School. maximum ride
I have never read James Patterson books. My mom made me read this and I have read all three of the maximum ride series. These are great books. Very entertaining. I hope he writes more books like this.
