This is just what my 3rd grader needed. After struggling with a standard dictionary to work on vocabulary, we knew we had to get something more age appropriate. Not a kiddie dictionary but not a college dictionary either. Sturdy, well made.

My grandson's 4th grade class was required to have the American Heritage Dictionary - Student Edition for their class. I tried four local stores and none of them carried this version so I choose to go to Overstock. The combined price for the dictionary and shipping was less than the manufacturer's suggested price and the dictionary arrived in one week in time for the start of school. The dictionary was perfect and after further review, I have a happy and thankful grandson.
