Abs Book for women

This book is very informative, a real eye opener as to the correct way to eat and exercise. I have personally lost 6 1/2 pounds in just over a month and an inch off my waist. I am also getting abs for the first time in my life and I am 51 years old. This book will change your life if you let it. I highly recommend it.

This is a great book to read if you are trying to learn how to live a healthier lifestyle. The recipes are all very good and the exercises are also helpful. I recommend this to anyone who wants to eat and live healthier without giving up everything you love.

Fat be gone....

Throughout this book the author David Zinczenko tells the reader how easy his book will make their dieting efforts. I do not totally agree. While reading the main contents of this book I would be thrown off by him putting success stories or informational tips right thru a section. At the top of the page should be the title for each section the reader is in and there isn't. The recipes flow from smoothies, to breakfast to lunch to dinner without breakage and w/o a top of the page title. I find myself flipping pages to get to what I want and have book marks sticking out allover. The excercises are good, a lot of them need gym equipment thou' a few have at home alternatives. But it would have been easier if in the sample schedule, he would have put in the page #'s as to where to find each excercise. Positively speaking the recipes are good and make me feel great. However, be prepared to eat every 2-3 hours since the food is protein based you get HUNGRY! I have not seen the scale move but my jeans are loose already after 9 days on the plan. You have to like to excercise and eat right for this to work. I would love it if the book came w/ the excercises on DVD. Looking forward to seeing my abs again!

Like another reviewer said, it's not much different from the original Abs Diet book. It's great to have if you haven't bought any of the other books. If you have, it just has a few new exercises for women.

Great Book

I have this book and love it. This copy was purchased as a gift for my mother who lately ha sbeen complaining about her eating habits and wieght. Everyone that I have purchased this books enjoys reading it and applying the information to there everyday routine. This is a excellent book and I am sure noone could be disappointed with it if they are looking to better there health.

Well worth it

The Abs Diet for Women is very informative. I was able to apply the principles of the diet and fitness plan without drastically changing my lifestyle. The book provides information on health concerns, meal planning, excercise routine, and health issues that relate to women. And it is written in an upbeat, humorous manner.

Great Abs Diet

I bought this with the Abs Diet Book and a couple of other Abs books by the same author. I could have done without this one since the Abs Diet is pretty comprehensive with regard to the purpose of diet and great recipes to use. That doesn't, however, take away from the fact that this book and the diet is practical and easy to follow. I've been following it for a month now and love the way the meals make me feel...and how I look.

The exercises in this book are fantastic and so are the diet guidelines given. I am not personally following the diet at this time, but I am impressed that they give you an option in this book to count your calories...unlike the original Abs Diet book. I count calories so I like that. Also, they give a ton of info on how to figure out how many calories you should be eating for weight loss, etc. The exercises are a great way to flatten your tummy!
