This is the workbook I also purchesed that she will never use, but the actual book you are meant to read w/ this workbook is what I will review.I thought this would be a great book for my 12 1/2 yr old daughter. She read a page or two, then skimmed it & said it was stupid. I disagree, but she is so cut off these days.... I am probably not a good judge of this book. Personally, I think it gives great info in an approachable way for teens under 17. Hoped this would warm her heart but...... will go back to talking to her while she acts like Iam not talking.Oh, she said it was all stupid stuff she already knew; I know better. It took some info she may know & put it into terms she can relate to. Instead of the version her peers distribute. It is blunt in its material, but don't think your kids haven't heard a twisted version of that same topic. At least they can have the healthy version.
