This is a sweet, 'true' story of a retired couple finding an abandoned quail egg on their property, & out of curiousity, bringing it into their home to see if it would hatch. It did hatch & what a happy surprise & friendship ensued! My mother-in-law shared this book with me years ago & I have bought many copies since, to share with friends & relatives, young & old!
