This book is amazing! From start to finish I could not put it down! Jana Oliver has done an awesome job on creating this story. Forgiven is the third book in The Demon Trapper series and carries on the story of Riley and the demon trappers. With action being involved throughout the book, Riley also to cope with school and boys, boys, boys! We follow her through her life as a female demon trapper and what she has to face. By the end of the book I was in awe of how Riley as a character develops and becomes her own person. She has her own opinions and is not afraid to tell everyone, and I believe this plays a big part in how the story unfolds. Riley Blackthorne seriously kicks some butt in this book and it is one of the best endings I have read and I am very glad I started reading this series! A must read for all!

Definitely an entertaining read! Cammie is a great narrator - she's funny and relatable. She's also a nice change of pace from typical female characters in teen lit - she's not whiny or self-absorbed but instead, she's got a good head on her shoulders and a big heart. She's also strong and independent, something that all girls should aspire to be. The environment Ms. Carter creates, despite the story taking place in a secret spy school for girls, is believable. The emotions that Cammie and her friends feel are real and that's what makes them approachable, despite being spys-in-training. Honestly, it's hard enough being a girl; imagine being a girl with the facts of your life being on a need-to-know basis! Overall, a good read. Can't wait to get my hands on the sequel!

I bought this for my preteen female readers. Good discussions on expectations placed on women and how to rally against it.

Both myself and my 14 year old son read and enjoyed this book. My son thought that it got off to a slow start, but not so bad as to stop him. I had no problem like that. The pace was good, the story flowed nicely, and the ending was a blast. I think that anyone past 3rd grade wouldd enjoy it, male/female, young/old. Go for it!
